Austria-Youth-Cup in Haiming - Bericht des LRV-Trainers

Zusammenfassung zum ötztaler Mountainbike Festival 2017 in Haiming – PROFFIX Swiss Bike Cup

 

An zwei Tagen wurde bei kühleren Temperaturen das ötztaler Mountainbike Festival ausgetragen. Der Wintereinbruch Anfang der Woche konnte dem Rennen nichts anhaben. Den besseren Tag hatten sicher die Youngsters am Samstag. Am Sonntag zeigte sich die Sonne nicht mehr von der besten Seite. In den Morgenstunden hatten wir an beiden Tagen noch Temperaturen unter Null Grad!

 

Dieses Rennen zählt zu verschieden Cupwertungen wie auch zur Austria Youngsters Cupwertung. Erstmalig ist dieses Rennen auch Bestandteil vom PROFFIX Swiss Bike Cup, der wohl bedeutendsten Rennserie im MTB-Sport! Zugleich zählt dieses MTB-Rennen neben Langenlois, Stattegg und Kirchberg mit den stärksten internationalen und nationalen besetzten Starterfeldern. Der Umstand dass nun in Haiming das zweite Rennen zum Swiss Bike Cup ausgetragen wurde und für die Schweizer Haiming im Vergleich zu uns einen Handwurf weit entfernt ist, führte in einigen Kategorien zu „Schweizer Meisterschaften“.

 

Nicht nur diesem Umstand geschuldet sind die erbrachten Leistungen und Ergebnisse unserer Youngsters sehr hoch anzurechen, denn die Strecke in Haiming ist selektiv, schnell und mit vielen natürlichen technischen Hindernissen ausgestattet. Die zum Teil sehr, sehr großen Starterfelder führten dann zu Staus in den Downhill-Passagen! Jene die in diesem Moment vorne mitmischten, konnen sich dann soweit absetzen, dass ein Einholen von hinten nicht mehr möglich war.

 

Der Samstag stand ganz im Zeichen des Nachwuchses und beinahe 500 Youngsters zeigten beeindruckende Leistungen. Aus Kärnten sind insgesamt 24 Jugendliche allesamt am Freitagnachmittag angereist.

 

Nun aber zur Zusammenstellung wo die Ergebnisse nach Klassen & Geschlecht sowie Platzierung Gesamt sowie Platzierung nach österreichern und Startern in der jeweiligen Klasse dargestellt sind.In Klammer stehen die Platzierungen im Gesamtranking international zur jeweiligen Klasse. Dies zeigt uns wo wir derzeit international stehen!!

 

 

U11: Starter aus Kärnten: Theresa, Lina, Benjamin, Johannes & Moritz

Ränge: 1te und 3te von 8 österreicherinnen (Gesamt international:4te und 6te von 16 Startern in dieser Klasse)

Ränge: 2ter 3ter & 10ter von 14 österreichern (Gesamt international 5ter, 7ter und 23ter von 28 Startern in dieser Klasse)

Gesamtstarter: 44 in der U11

 

U13: Starter aus Kärnten: Eva, Nico, Stefan

Ränge 4te von 8 österreicherinnen (Gesamt international: 9te von 25 Startern in dieser Klasse)

Ränge 3ter & 9ter von 25 österreichern (Gesamt international 3ter und 33ter von 60 Startern in dieser Klasse)

Gesamtstarter: 85 in der U13

 

 

 

U15: Starter aus Kärnten: Katharina, Sarah, Johanna, Annabell, Nicki, Klara, Simeon, Killian & David

Ränge: 2te, 6te, 7te 8te und 14te von 14 österreicherinnen (Gesamt international:

5te, 15te, 17, 22te und 28te von 28 Startern in dieser Klasse)

Ränge: 10ter 11ter & 13ter von 22 österreichern (Gesamt international 40ter, 43ter und 46ter von 73 Startern in dieser Klasse)

Gesamtstarter: 101 in der U15

 

U17: Starter aus Kärnten: Maya, Laura, Pauli, Levente, Michi, Jonas & Fabian

Ränge: 7te und 11te von 13 österreicherinnen (Gesamt international: 24te und 29te von 33 Startern in dieser Klasse)

Ränge: 12ter, 13ter, 14ter & 18ter von 31 österreichern (Ges. international 71ter, 73ter, 76ter, 79ter und 85ter von 93 Startern in dieser Klasse)

Gesamtstarter: 126 in der U17

 

 

Ich selber war und bin sehr froh, an diesem Wochenende live dabei gewesen zu sein. Alle Eltern die mitgereist sind, werden dies auch bestätigen können, dass der Sport Mountainbike speziell im Bereich der Kinder und Jugend international gesehen extrem stark boomt und das Niveau sich in den letzen Jahren enorm verbessert hat.

 

Um hier den Youngsters die Möglichkeit zu geben nur annähernd international mitzuhalten, müssen wir in den Vereinen diesen Umstand erkennen und das Training dazu abstimmen. „Im Kreis fahren“ die Hindernisse „umfahren“ bzw. ihnen keine technische Ausbildung am Rad zu lernen ist fahrlässig und so soll es dann einen nicht verwundern, wenn wir den Anschluss an die Spitze nicht oder nur sehr schwer schaffen.

 

Bereits am kommenden Wochenende steht die 3. Station zum AYC in der Lassnitzhöhe mit einem Pumptrack und einem XC-Rennen auf dem Programm!
