Österreichische Meisterschaften 2017 im MTB Cross-Country in Koppl (Sbg)

Österreichische Meisterschaft und Staatsmeisterschaft im Mountainbike Cross Country in Koppl

 

Am vergangenen Wochenende wurden in Koppl die Staatsmeister und die österreichischen Meister im Mountainbike Sport ermittelt. An beiden Tagen wurden die unterschiedlichen Klassensieger ermittelt. Aus Kärnten nahmen SportlerInnen in den Kategorien U13, U15, U17, Junioren & Juniorinnen sowie in der Elite teil.

 

Corina Druml – Juniorin als auch David Polzer – Junior mussten wegen Sturz bzw. technischem Defekt ihre Chancen bereits in der zweiten Runde ihres Rennens begraben.


Umso erfreulicher aber, dass wir bei der Elite durch Uwe Hochenwarter und bei der U13 durch Eva Herzog jeweils den dritten Platz einfahren konnten.

 

Ein eigenes Rennen, so quasi in einer eigenen Liga fahrend, wurde in der Klasse U15 weiblich durch Katharina Sadnik aus Unterberg (Ruden) bestritten. Erneut konnte sie Ihre Klasse in einem sehr stark besetzten nationalen Teilnehmerfeld unter Beweis stellen. Die Seriensiegerin der letzten acht Rennen, konnte auch dieses, mit einem Rekordvorsprung von über zwei Minuten, für sich entscheiden. Sie ist nun österreichische Meisterin im Mountainbike 2017 und bereitet sich bereits auf die Jugendeuropameisterschaft in Stattegg/ Graz vor.

 

Der LRV Kärnten gratuliert seinen SportlerInnen zu ihren Erfolgen von ganzem Herzen!
