Erfolgreiche Bilanz der „Austria Top Tour“ – Termine 2014

Vor genau einem Jahr schlossen sich die vier
Rennradmarathons Achensee Radmarathon (Tirol), Dolomitenrundfahrt
(Tirol), Mondsee 5 Seen Radmarathon (Oö) und der Kärnten Radmarathon Bad
Kleinkirchheim (K) sowie die Mountainbike Salzkammergut Trophy (Oö)
zusammen und gründeten eine neue Rennserie für Hobbyradsportler in
österreich, die „Austria Top Tour“. 2014 werden bereits fünf Rad-Veranstaltungen
Teil der „Austria Top Tour“ sein. Neu ist der Alpe-Adria Giro in Villach.

Genau ein Jahr nach der ersten „Austria Top Tour“ luden
die Veranstalter zur großen Schlussveranstaltung mit Gesamtsiegerehrung
nach Mondsee ein. Nach einer gemeinsamen Radausfahrt bei traumhaftem
Wetter durchs Mondseeland am Nachmittag wurden am Abend in der
Säulenhalle im Schloss Mondsee die Sieger gekürt.

Als beste Dame konnte sich Rosi Münster (BMW Radsport) als
Gesamtsiegerehrung in die Siegerliste eintragen. Auf Platz zwei landete
Claudia Horn (RSV Rosenheim) vor Maria Pichler.
Bei den Herren gewann Martin Ludwiczek (rtr31) die
Premiere der „Austria Top Tour“. Christoph Unterweger (Team Tour powered
by Bulls) auf Rang zwei und Gebhard Pertl (RC Arbö Raiffeisen Feld am
See) auf Rang drei komplettierten das Herrenpodium.
Die Höhenmeterwertung entschied Christoph Unterweger (Team
Tour powered by Bulls) mit 15.399 hm für sich.

Termine 2014

Die Termine für die kommende „Austria Top Tour“ stehen
bereits fest. Nach der erfolgreichen Premiere wird die „Austria Top
Tour“ nächstes Jahr mit den gleichen Veranstaltungen zwischen Mai und
Juli erneut über die Bühne gehen und soll in den nächsten Jahren in
Mitteleuropa zu einer fixen Größe im Radsportkalender werden.
