MTB-JEM Stattegg 12.-16.08.2013
Vorige Woche fanden zum 3. Mal die MTB Jugend EM in Stattegg statt.
Auch heuer waren wieder einige KärntnerInnen vertreten. Insgesamt waren 6 U-15 und 2 U-17 FahrerInnen am Start.
Im anderen Bericht können Sie lesen wie es das Merida – LRV Kärnten Team mit Stefan Egarter, Jakob Hafner und Nina Mosser gegangen ist.
Auch am Start waren Yana Dobnig und Corina Druml in der Kategorie U-15.
Yana konnte ihre sehr gute Leistung vom Vorjahr sogar noch verbessern und wurde insgesamt 7. Sie schaffte es um in alle Einzelbewerbe am Podest zu stehen (4. Kombination, 8. XCO-Large und 10. XCO). Zum Schluss fehlte Yana nur 1 Punkt auf Platz 6.
Corina Druml zeigte sich sehr kämpferisch und schaffte es auch um Vorne mitzumischen. Leider musste sie in der Kombination mit einem Defekt aufgeben und damit wurde sie am Ende „nur“ 16.! Sie wurde 42 in der Kombination, 6. beim XCO-Large und 7. im XCO.
In der Kategorie U17 waren Franziska Egarter und Fabian Lamprecht (RLM OMYA Villach) zusammen mit Lorenz Hagen (RV Dornbirn) im ELEVEN Austria Test Team vertreten.
Leider lief, durch technische Probleme, nicht alles nach Plan im Teamsprint und Team-Relay und damit war es schwierig in der extrem starke Kategorie U-17 noch besser ab zu schneiden.
Franziska holte den sehr guten 19. Platz in der Gesamtwertung, obwohl sie am letzten Tag beim XCO-Rennen auch noch Pech hatte. Am Start konnte Franziska eine gestürzte Fahrerin nicht mehr ausweichen und musste von Hinten das Feld wieder einholen. Mit etwas mehr Glück wäre eine bessere Platzierung möglich gewesen.
Fabian merkte dieses Jahr dass es bei den U17-Fahrern noch etwas wilder zu geht als bei den U15-Fahrern. Er kämpfte sich aber sehr tapfer durch die Rennen und wurde zum Schluss 66. vor seinem Teamkollegen Lorenz Hagen bei 108 Startern. Trotzdem eine starke Leistung und 7. Bester österreicher!
Als Team wurde das ELEVEN Austria Test Team 28. und damit 3. Beste österreichisches Team!
