2.ter Tag MTB-Jugend-EM

Kombination Technikbewerb mit Cross-Country

Am 2ten Tag des Jugend EM wurde die Kombination aus Technikbewerb und CrossCountry ausgetragen. Im international stark besetzen Bewerb konnten sich unsere Kärntner AthletInnen wieder gut in Szene setzen.

Bei der Kategorie U15-w konnte Franziska Egarter mit Rang 3 sogar einen Platz am Podest erkämpfen. Melissa Jenull rundete den Erfolg aus Kärntner Sicht mit Platz 9 und damit einer Top Ten Platzierung ab. Somit wurden 2 Kärntnerinnen bei der Award-Zeremonie geehrt. Tanja Pirker landete auf Rang 31.

In der U15-m wurde der beherzt fahrende Sandro Druml von einem Reifenschaden aus dem Kampf um die Top Plätze und zu Boden gerissen, erkämpte aber dennoch Platz 45 unter 76 Teilnehmern. Die weiteren Platzierung der Kärntner U-15 Fahrer waren Philipp Singerl mit Rang 48, Nico Kepold mit 53 und Fabian Possegger als 62ter. Der Kärntner Teilnehmer im österreichischen Nationalteam, Fabian Lamprecht, konnte stolz den 44. Platz einfahren.

Unsere Vertreterin in der U17-w, Julia Wieltschnig erreichte bei Temperaturen um die 30° mit engagierter Fahrt den hervorragenden 16. Rang unter 44 Teilnehmerinnen.

Der Defektteufel machte auch vor unserer U17-m nicht halt und holte Leon Wolbank nach erfolgreicher Aufholjagd aus dem Technikbewerb vom Kurs auf eine Top Ten Platzierung auf Rang 69. Mario Oberrauter wurde nach einem Wespenstich im Rennen noch beachtenswerter 25. und Philipp Hack erkämpfte im international stark besetzten Bewerb Rang 57.
Positiv wirkt sich der gute Teamgeist des LRV-Kärnten-Teams auf alle Teilnehmer aus, die sich gegenseitig unterstützen und betreuen und so einen Schritt in ihrer mentalen und menschlichen Entwicklung.
