"Ergebnisse Trans-Germany 1. – 4. Juni 2011"

Nachstehend einen Bericht von Silvio Wieltschnig über die Trans-Germany (1. – 4. Juni 2011)
Es handelt sich um ein Etappenrennen von Sonthofen nach Maurach am Achensee über 4 Tage:

Etappe 1: Sonthofen Wonnemar – Pfronten (68,24km und 2557 Höhenmeter)

Etappe 2: Pfronten – Lermoos (78,17km und 2298 Höhenmeter)

Etappe 3: Lermoos - Garmisch Partenkirchen (83,40km und 1881 Höhenmeter) Etappe 4: Garmisch Partenkirchen - Achensee Maurach (105,53km und 1998 Höhenmeter)


Mit Alban Lakata (amtierende Weltmeister), Sauser Christoph, Kaufmann Markus, Bresser Carsten, Platt Karl, ….. standen unzählige, fast unbezwingbare Rennfahrer am Start.

Für mich sollte es ein Formaufbau für den im Juli stattfindende Trans-Alp werden. Der erste und zweite Tag war ein Wegweiser, dass ich am richtigen Weg bin. Mitten in der Weltelite konnte ich mich nach zwei Tagen am 14. Gesamtrang wieder finden. In den Anstiegen bin ich schon wieder der Alte, lediglich in den Abfahrten und im Flachen muss ich noch die Schwächen beseitigen. Also standen die Zeichen für die 3. Und 4. Etappe nicht so gut, denn es handelte sich um die angesprochenen Flachstrecken. Am Ende hatte ich noch Pech und fiel um 6 Plätze im Gesamtklassement zurück. Mit einem 20. Platz konnte ich nach den 4 Tagen sehr zufrieden sein.

Sieger wurde Sauser Christoph vor Lakata Alban und Kaufmann Markus.

Nachstehend einen Bericht von Silvio Wieltschnig über das City Kriterium in Mauterndorf:

Pfingstwochenende (11. – 12. Juni):

Samstag fand in Mauterndorf/Salzburg ein City Kriterium mit dem MTB statt. 4 Biker standen jeweils am Start und die ersten 2 kamen immer Runde für Runde weiter. Da ich ja kein Sprinter bin, überraschte mich das Ergebnis. Lauf um Lauf wurde ich besser und schlussendlich stand ich im richtigen Finale. Dort wurde die Luft für mich zu dünn, somit blieb mir leider der undankbare 4. Gesamtrang.



Sonntag fand dann ein Bergrennen auf das Grosseck statt. 14 Kilometer und 950 Höhenmeter waren zu überwinden. Nach 3 Kilometer wollte ich schon mal meine Koffer packen und die Heimreise antreten. Mein Ehrgeiz belehrte mich des besseren. Ich überholte Fahrer um Fahrer und umso weiter wir den Berg bezwungen haben, umso schneller wurde ich. Am Ende fehlten mir dann lediglich 30 Sekunden auf den Sieger aus Deutschland und ich konnte mit dem 2. Gesamtrang und einer Fahrzeit von 45:03 Minuten die Heimreise über das Pfingstwochenende antreten.
