Tchibo.Top.Rad.Liga-Rennen Zagreb-Ljubljana (UCI 1.2) - Adam Homolka belegt Rang 7


AdamHomolkaSlowenien Eine Vorentscheidung um den Gesamtsieg brachte vermutlich das gestrige Ergebnis des UCI 1.2-Rennens Zagreb-Ljubljana, dem 8. Tchibo Top.Rad.Liga-Rennen der Saison 2010. Grundsätzlich hatte Adam Homolka beim ein Kilometer langen Finalanstieg zur Burg in der slowenischen Hauptstadt Laibach alles richtig gemacht und lag 300m vor dem Ziel noch voran - doch dann ein kleiner Schwenk eines Kontrahenten, zwei Tritte ausgelassen und schon zogen sechs Fahrer an ihm vorbei - u.a. auch der TTRL-Führende Josef Benetseder (2. Platz, TeamVorarlberg). Nach 180 km in zügiger Fahrt (Schnitt 46km/h !) von Zagreb und über die Hügel um Novo Mesto nach Ljubljana waren alle Rennfahrer schon ziemlich am physischen Limit, der extrem lange Bergaufsprint forderte den Spitzenfahrern dann
noch alles ab. Die schnellsten Beine hatte dabei noch der Slowene Matej Mugerli (Perutnina Ptuj) vor Benetseder und dem Sieger der Vorwoche, Marko Kump (Adria Mobil). Adam Homolka belegte Rang sieben und verlor dabei leider etwas Boden auf den 'Gelben' Josef Benetseder, allerdings gibt es mit den Rennen in Schwaz (12.9.) und dem Finale auf der Wiener Donauinsel zwei Möglichkeiten, Benetseder noch von der Spitze zu verdrängen.

Für das Team geht es schon am Freitag weiter mit der österreichischen Bergmeisterschaft von Deutschlandsberg auf die Weinebene. Neben dem Finale der TTR-Liga steht am 25.09. noch ein Herbstklassiker am Programm - die 62. Auflage der Fernfahrt Prag-Karlsbad-Prag, 275km durch die Hügel Westtschechiens - sicher noch ein Highlight in unserer ausklingenden Radsportsaison 2010...

 

2010-08-29: DR Uwe Rascher gewinnt schweres Rennen in Windischgarsten
Völlig überraschend gewinnt Uwe das Rennen nach 114km nach einer 2 Mann Soloflucht durch eine Attacke kurz vor dem Ziel. Der Ärzteweltmeister 2010 bestätigte mit diesem Erfolg seine gute Form.
