Jugend EM Graz/Stattegg – 3. Tag

Bericht Jakob Drok

Heute hat der Cross Country X-Large stattgefunden. Für U-15 und U17-W war eine Runde mit 11,2 km und 470hm zu bewältigen. Die U17-M müssten sogar noch eine extra Runde fahren und insgesamt war die Strecke 19,5 km lang mit 800hm.

 

Unsere Fahrer ging es ganz gut und werden ihre Overall-Platzierung sicher etwas verbessern können. Die neue Liste hat es bis jetzt leider noch nicht gegeben.

 

Franziska Egarter konnte wieder unter den Top-10 fahren und auch Julia Wieltschnig ging es heute um einiges besser als gestern. Für die beiden Mädels natürlich eine extra Motivation für den morgigen XCO.

 

Auch die Burschen sind sehr gut gefahren. Fabian Possegger konnte im Zielsprint sogar noch seinen Vereinskollege Fabian Lamprecht überholen.

Pech hatte Leon Wolbank, er musste im Falschgraben, nicht weit nach der Technical-Zone sein Rad runter tragen da er am Hinterrad leider ein Platten hatte. Er war trotzdem bei weitem nicht der letzte und würde im Ziel noch stark angefeiert.

Zum Abschluss gibt es morgen dann noch den XCO und hoffentlich können sich die KärntnerInnen noch ein paar Plätze verbessern.

 

Jetzt geht es dann bald zur Siegerehrung. Heute stehen mit Franziska und Yana, wie gestern, wieder 2 Kärntnerinnen am Podest.
