Julia Hilber und Lukas Ranacher holen österreichische Meisterschafts-Medaillen

Am 27.Juni fanden in Knittelfeld die österr. Staatsmeisterschaften der Nachwuchsklassen in der Kategorie Straße-Einzel statt. Der Verein RLM Grafenstein schickte 8 Fahrer in die Steiermark. Schon unsere erste Medaillenhoffnung Julia Hilber fuhr ein starkes Rennen und wurde im Zielsprint nach 38,3km nur knapp von der Steirerin Viktoria Domitner geschlagen. Larissa Ratkic kam zeitgleich mit dem Hauptfeld ins Ziel. Beim Rennen der U-17 sprintete Robin Ratkic mit dem Hauptfeld ins Ziel und wurde 24. Alexander Gorenschek, der bei den Amateuren startete, hielt sich bis zur Schlussrunde im Feld auf, musste jedoch auf dem letzten Kilometern das Hauptfeld ziehen lassen und kam knapp dahinter ins Ziel. Bei den Rennen der Junioren waren 114,6km zu absolvieren. Das Rennen startete sehr hektisch. In den ersten Runden erfolgten viele Attacken aus unseren Reihen. Als bis zur Runde 3 alle Ausreißversuche scheiterten griff Lukas Ranacher zur rennentscheidenden Attacke. 3 Fahrer konnten aufschließen und so konnten sie schnell ein Polster aufs Hauptfeld von ca. 1:30min herausfahren. Nachdem in der letzten Runde ein Fahrer der Gruppe das hohe Tempo nicht mehr halten konnte, ging es zu dritt auf die letzten Kilometer. Lukas pokerte im Sprint nicht lange und griff bei der 1km Marke an. 100 Meter vor dem Ziel lag er noch in Führung, doch leider wurde er noch knapp vor der Ziellinie von beiden Konkurrenten gestellt. Daniel Biedermann wurde fünfter und Michael Kucher Zehnter.
